3 Stars, Makeshift Line up

The sudden passing of Jose Reyes' grandmother has placed the red hot shortstop on the MLB bereavement list until at least Thursday thus adding to the makeshift appearance of the Mets roster. Remarkably, this constant thus far has not seen the complete devastation of the team as they continue to compete admirably with the young replacements.

Hoping the Mets can continue to stay the course as RA Dickey takes the hill with his injured plantar faciatis tonight against the Pirates while the Cardinals here in St. Louis try to rebound from yesterday's loss here to the Giants which was keyed by Andres Torres' (one of my fantasy guys) grand slam and the apparent injury to surprisingly effective thus far, Kyle McClellan.

Chris Carpenter vs Little "TimmieHippie" Lincecum set for what promises to be a steamy Busch tonight should be quite the match up.
